GSK wanted to generate exciting new product ideas to feed the ever hungry innovation pipeline.
Inspiring innovation with storytelling, films and expert perspectives
The R&D team needed insights to stimulate an idea generation workshop. Our role was to provide the inspiration. We observed and spoke to consumers, people with extreme needs (chefs, air stewards, gym instructors), as well as experts and influencers. From these sessions we provided initial direction for new product opportunities. A library of short film edits and other outputs, including graphic novel style storyboards were shared on an internal platform. The wider team viewed outputs ahead of the workshop so they arrived with appetites whetted and brains engaged. The result was a raft of exciting new product innovations with real potential for development.
